Contextualized Materials

Asia-Pacific learners need textbooks that are responsive to their learning needs.

The Assumption Language College’s language teachers are writing textbooks that are task-based and contextualized, and compliant with the standards of International English for Language Testing System (IELTS) and Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The activities are focused on the development of Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing skills with the greater consideration of the learners’ culture, social background, and leadership potentialities.

Ongoing Trainer Formation

Shaping our educators is a very important task for they will be the one who will mold the students into becoming a leader.

The teachers of Assumption Language College keep themselves updated professionally by attending and participating in seminars and training.  They are always re-equipped with new trends in language learning, teaching, and testing in the area of Teachers for Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and English as a Second Language (ESL).

Infrastructure

ALC is always improving its facilities for greater and more quality service to the beneficiaries.

The school envisions to build a boarding school in which all the students can have the opportunity to integrate a new language into their learning experience while residing on campus. All amenities that help the students learn a new language are fully provided in the proposed boarding school.

Bridge lives through language.
